Previously a Research Fellow at the Bridge Initiative, Jordan Denari Duffner is now pursuing a PhD in Theological and Religious Studies at Georgetown University. She is the author of Finding Jesus among Muslims: How Loving Islam Makes Me a Better Catholic (2017), and her forthcoming book on Islamophobia is slated for publication in 2020. A former Fulbright researcher in Amman, Jordan, she has written for numerous publications, including the Washington Post, TIME, and America. In 2016, Jordan authored the Bridge Initiative report, ‘Danger and Dialogue: American Catholics Perceptions and Portrayals of Islam,’ which included the first nationwide survey of Catholics’ views of Islam.
